GO GREEN Program
An opportunity for students to learn about the environment and take action
Here’s how it works:
- Students learn about environmental issues and what they can do to help. more»
- Classroom discussions focus on the health of the Earth. The focus and duration of these discussions is decided by the individual school or teacher.
- Each student creates a GO GREEN drawing. more»
- We provide guidelines to help the student create a design that will look great when printed. (click here)
- Student creations are ordered by friends and family to be printed on our 100% organic t-shirts and totes.
- We give back $5.00 for each shirt purchased to the school/organization to be spent on a green project. more»
- After the campaign has ended, we forward these funds to your GO GREEN coordinator. The money is spent by your school or organization on a green project that the administration and/or students have decided to fund. These projects could include planting trees, installing CFL light bulbs or better insulating a part of your building. If your building is already in excellent green shape, the students can decide to donate these funds to a local or national organization, such as World Wildlife Fund, Sierra Club or Friends of the Earth. We recommend trying to act locally as it is more exciting and educational for the children.

- In the short time we have done this program, we have been amazed at the excitement it generates. Students, parents and grandparents are thrilled to display these moving pieces of wearable artwork. Plus, students are proud to do their part in helping the Earth. Their experiences have been a great mix of learning, excitement, and action.
